DEVLINK 2010 : Call For Speakers Announced

The devLink Technical Conference is looking for individuals interested in participating as a speaker at DEVLINK 2010.  A healthy mix of current technologies, trends in the industry and future advances are vital to a successful event.  We are an independent event delivering technology/platform neutral content and we encourage a variety of opinions.  If you are interested in participating as a speaker for DEVLINK 2010 please complete the Speaker Application and e-mail it to 'speak at devlink.net'.  

Session Levels Time Allocated Description
General 1 hr 15 min Sessions that apply to everyone, without prerequisite knowledge
Beginner 1 hr 15 min This level is for new technologies and/or techniques. Selections will be minimal.
Intermediate 1 hr 15 min The majority of sessions should fall at this intermediate level. Deep, but not too deep.
Advanced 1 hr 15 min This level represents deep, niche topics. We recommend only experienced speakers for this level.

DEVLINK 2010 will feature two new tracks intended to reach a broader audience.  The Platforms and Tools track will feature content for System Administrators, System Integrators and related roles.  The additional of the Professional Development track is intended as a way to assist those impacted by the current economic climate.  All tracks are tentative based on submissions from speakers and subject to change.  Additional tracks will be announced as speaker submissions are received.

Development Practices Sessions touching on every phase of the Application Lifecycle and how to make it better
Platforms and Tools *NEW Sessions covering a broad range of systems related content: Networking, Server Management, SharePoint, TFS, etc…
Professional Development *NEW Sessions intended to help guide careers: Negotiation, Communication, Resume writing, Interviewing, etc…
Architecture Sessions focused on Architecture of technology and Architecture as a practice
Developer Tools, Languages, and Frameworks Sessions representing the entire spectrum of what is out there to help get the job done
Project Management and Analysis Sessiongs geared toward everything related to getting the project delivered: Requirements, Estimation, Managing multiple projects, etc…
Database Platforms and Development Sessions targeting everything database related: SQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, etc…
